Abstract: | Online video lectures have received extremely good feedback from students on my course since I first created them in 2020. This short session will share data about viewing statistics for my 'flipped classroom' course where all lecture content is delivered asynchronously via video and class time is used for reinforcement of concepts. Anonymised data on what percentage of the cohort watched online videos over the period of the course will be shared and analysed by programme and students' EAL status to provide evidence-based reflections on the flipped classroom approach, whether it works as well as we think it does, specific problems, and what I could improve. Participants will get empirical evidence into asynchronous video viewing patterns and may develop ideas for their own improvements for courses which rely on video engagement. | ||||
