How far can the limitations of single, complex modular patch be stretched whilst retaining some related characteristics? 2. Methods A single patch was created for modular synthesiser and a series of custom programmes were written for a digital audio effects module. Working with the adjustable parameters of the patch and the response of the effects programmes, an evolving series of improvised movements were performed and recorded live. 3. Context of Contribution ‘Persian Surgery Dervishes’ by Terry Riley. Shandar Records, 1972. | ||||
