Biography
The thematic focus of my work is on creative youth engagement and design pedagogy. Positioned in the field of Design Innovation and as a practice-based researcher, my work is aligned to Participatory Design and methodologically follows Action Research approaches. I have a keen interest in research ethics, developing innovative tools and techniques for creative engagement and new forms of studio-based collaboration. I teach and supervise on the Master of Research and PhD programmes; Master of Design Innovation (subject lead for Transformation Design); and Master of European Design at The Glasgow School of Art.
