Biography

Neil Clements is a lecturer in Fine Art Critical Studies. As an artist and academic his focus is on abstract art and its relation to other forms of cultural production. He has exhibited internationally; and recent solo presentations of his work have taken place at the Hunterian Art Gallery and Tramway, Glasgow, CCA Derry-Londonderry and PEER, London.

In addition to maintaining a visual practice Clements has written and spoken extensively on the work of other visual artists, both historical and contemporary.
