Text for the book by Tine Bek ''The Vulgarity of Being Three-Dimensional"

In this book work by Tine Bek we encounter the staple diet of a variety of subjects – photographed. Fruit, material, fabric and figures are brought together and changed by subtle shades of colour. The uncertainty of reading photographs is beginning to give way to sensations that speak of texture, bodies and sensations. Even though the subjects are extracted from our world we are now in the world of images.
