A reflection on my relationships with Bernat Klein, his designs and ways of exploring prints through both digital and analogue processes, providing an intimate relationship with the subject matter, through creative and technical processes, alongside experimentation with a range of new materials. In collaboration with the Centre for Advanced Textiles at GSA, I have explored digital methods of printing designs onto natural bases. This has allowed me to explore colour-ways with smaller, limited edition print production on a range of base material, eliminating waste. The original Bernat Klein examples offered a vast source of inspiration with exciting colour and pattern combinations, This project aimed to create a new archive and collection of printed textiles for the Bernat Klein Foundation.
