As a Research Associate at the Glasgow School of Art, Gaston is deeply committed to knowledge exchange and transdisciplinary collaboration. He actively contributes to "The Curious Researchers," a publication that promotes dialogue across disciplines and institutions.
Gaston is employed as as a Community Innovation Practitioner, where he applies his expertise in design, art, and research to improve community co-created R&D. He is involved in the College of Arts & Humanities Partnership Catalyst, a Knowledge Exchange collaboration between Glasgow University and GSA that emphasises community-led approaches to themes like Scottish Food Culture, Digital Cultural Heritage, and Mental Health & Wellbeing.
Through his work, Gaston Welisch hopes to inspire active participation and critical reflection, contributing to a collective shaping of Futures.
