The essay explores 'fourth dimensional feeling' (Duchamp) in a series of 52 collaged drawings by Michael Ginsborg. It examines the work of diagrams as operations between the eye and mind and the spatial and conceptual reach of these cut and collaged works. It was published online and in print by Benjamin Rhodes Gallery to accompany Michael Ginsborg's solo show Field Notes in London 16th June - 30th July 2022.
