Abstract: | Marianne Greated's work Panel Stretch was shown as part of Close of Play: Art of the Possible. Greated’s practice based research addresses the landscape, exploring how sustainability manifests within the landscape and constructing uncertain narratives around human intervention into the landscape. Recent work focusses on renewable power structures, displacing the notion of the site and redressing histories of landscape painting. Panel Stretch is a response to renewables in the landscape and how they are situated and understood within the landscape. 'Art of the Possible’ was a collaboration between The Glasgow School of Art and Glasgow Art Club. This exhibition co-incided with the COP26 Climate Change Summit 2021. The exhibition comprised of work relating to climate change, climate emergency, climate justice, or sustainability and included work by GSA staff and students, and Art Club members. | ||||
