An expanded version of an earlier version of a creative non-fiction essay based on longer term research about crows, drawing on social and ecological history, language and mythology. This piece also responds to and contextualises two earlier videoworks, bridal, and bridal II. A still from bridal II featured on the cover of the Journal of Writing in Creative Practice 10 (1), 2017.
