Glasgow-based writer Elizabeth Reeder and artist and author Amanda Thomson will guide a two-hour practical writing workshop about place, landscape and language and get participants writing about familiar places in new ways.

How do the places we come from and live within impact us? How do we see familiar places at different
times, in different seasons, weathers and moods, and what language do we have or can we create about
these experiences?

This workshop will include a discussion of creative practices, various exercises and prompts, and will encourage you to explore the writing you want to do including: non-fiction, fiction, poetry and hybrid writing (image and text).
