Abstract: | Marianne Greated's artwork including binaural and hydrophone recordings were featured as part of Ocean Soundscape installation which was showing at the Unearthed exhibition at Dynamic Earth Edinburgh on 17th to 20th November 2017. Soundscapes above and below the water have important implications for wildlife and are frequently disturbed by human intervention through underwater construction, ship's propellers, tidal stream energy devices and so on. Ocean Soundscapes was a joint project between The Glasgow School of Art and The School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Edinburgh. Unearthed: Explore the world at your feet, was a 4-day event led by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC). It brought together and encouraged collaboration from researchers across Scotland and shared research with invited groups and the public. | ||||
