‘Five Propositions Towards a Scottish Collection of Artists’ Moving Image’ is a series of public consultation events run by LUX Scotland in 2017 that will inform the development of a new Scottish collection of artists' moving image. I was one of five speakers at the inaugural event invited to present a proposition for LUX Scotland's artists' film collection. I selected Duncan Campbell's Bernadette (2008) and presented a short paper on its significance for the collection as well as its significance to me as an educator and researcher who focuses on artists' film. My short paper will form part of a collection of online materials that LUX Scotland is collating in support of this major project.
