| Abstract: | A survey of designs held in the archives of GSA and the School of Textiles & Design, Heriot-Watt University produced in the 1930s-70s by the textile firm of Donald Brothers, Dundee. Archival research demonstrates that Frank Donald, MD of Donald Brothers during early part of 20th century, built on precedents within the company to apply design reform ideology in production processes. Their work with 'industrial artists' is significant and overlooked, requiring further elucidation. | ||||||
