Abstract: | In this exhibition I presented a substantial group of 8 works including several paintings made on catalogue pages, and paintings made on other found surfaces including a world map, a photograph and sheet music. The curators of the exhibition have said ‘This wide-ranging and multi-media exhibition will comprehensively present and critically address a broad selection of different artistic interpretations of the dark and disturbing forces which stalk the Scottish psyche and trouble our Scottish society. […] artistic responses have taken a wide variety of richly inventive forms- from the out-and-out horrific and psychologically disturbing to the darkly satirical and comically farcical.
