An exhibition, curated by Wilhelm Schürmann, Director of Sammlung Gaby und Wilhelm Schürmann Collection & The Twodo Group. held at Kunstsaele, Berlin. This research output was the result of a commission by The Twodo Collection and Kunstsaele, Berlin. The Twodo Group was started in 1998 by Wilhelm Schürmann in Aachen. A group of art lovers support the NAK Aachen every year with a fixed financial contribution. As an incentive, every year TWODO commissions an artist to make a work which, in accordance with the number of Twodo members, can be divided into 24 individual works.
A series of 12 sculptures and 12 paintings, along with a video installation were created for the exhibition & collection. These consisted of imagery generated from detailed arrangements silicone carbide dust particles, creating parallels between process, concrete and virtual labour value and their affects upon social relations. The works were presented as 3 interdependent installations within the context of this exhibition, as well as becoming part of the internationally significant Twodo Collection.
