Abstract: | Rodeo: Artists Films on R. B. Cunninghame Graham The project involves the production by myself and international artists of short films which respond to the career of R. B. Cunninghame Graham (1852-1936) one of Scotland’s most dynamic literary and political figures. Cunninghame Graham founded the Scottish Labour Party and the Scottish National Party and travelled widely, most notably to Argentina where he was known as Don Roberto and received a state funeral in 1936. The artists films will be produced by myself and other international artists in key locations in Scotland and the UK, Spain, Morocco, San Antonio, Mexico City and Buenos Aires. In December 2011, Rodeo received £7,500 from the Arts and Humanities Small Grants Scheme of the Royal Society of Edinburgh towards costs of travel and accommodation. | ||||
