The exhibition stems from research around the environmental issue of increasing noise levels in the community as a result of technological advances and is particularly relevant in Bangalore with its rapid technological development. The title ‘Sonitus’, Latin for sound, relates to ongoing science and art collaborations in this field as well as research being carried out between the Indian Institute of Science and The University of Edinburgh.
