Abstract: | The Flag Project is an on-going work that invites individuals and groups to accept or reject the implications of creating a flag. It is made up of flags, banners and posters - formats that depict individual or group messages - and captures to diversity of meanings and messages that are embraced by the form of the flag. The Flag Project has been released by the neighborhood of Bethnal Green and its divergent populations. The Flag Project re-interprets their original contexts and creates a conglomeration of signs and symbols. | ||||
