Biography
Mark is Head of Learning, Teaching and Enhancement at the Glasgow School of Art (GSA) working strategically across the institution to lead and shape educational enhancement and high quality learning experience for students. Mark has significant experience in academic quality, enhancement, student partnership, and academic and educational development having worked at institutional and sector level on a range of projects and change agendas. Mark has a Masters of Education from the University of Glasgow, is a Reader in Learning and Teaching at the GSA and is a Principal Fellow of AdvanceHE. His research interests include Learning and Teaching, Leadership of Learning and Teaching, and Student Engagement and Partnership.

Grants
Mark is currently co-leading the national Scottish Tertiary Enhancement Programme project 'Understanding the Staff Development Landscape Required to Support Diverse Learner Journeys in the Tertiary Sector'.

Mark is a course tutor and assessor within the Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in the Creative Disciplines and a Reviewer and Mentor within the CReATE CPD Framework.
