Abstract:

'Remote recordings' was a commissioned project to make a new sculptural edition with a focus on placing sculpture in the wider community. The painted and cast work was made from a model of collected domestic surfaces, sediment, taped seams and plasterboard, attempting to capture the freedoms available at the stage of modello or sketchbook in an editioned work.
