Abstract:	In this essay, commissioned by Nicolas Winding Refn's production company by NWR for the booklet included in the BluRay/DVD 4K boxset release of the Pusher Trilogy of gangster films set in Copenhagen's criminal underworld, (1996-2005), I discuss how masculinity is performed not only by the actors in the films but also by the characters they portray.
