Abstract:

A free two day conference which sought to open up a conversation on how academics and artists might reject the straightjackets increasingly imposed on their way of working through a discussion of what we have termed ‘Wild Research’. I was an organiser and convened one of the four sessions (including 10 speakers) and gave a paper. The conference was jointly organised between the University of Glasgow, The Glasgow School of Art, the University Rovira i Virgili, Valencia, Spain, and the Journal of Media Practice and Education (Taylor and Francis) at the Revelator (Wall of Death Venue) in Glasgow 13th and 14th September 2024.
