Score for a love is an artwork developed and made for CINEMA DESPITE Moving Image Festival 2023 curated by Marcus Jack.
CINEMA DESPITE featured the contribution of twenty-nine artists, filmmakers and collectives working across a seventy year period. CINEMA DESPITE attempts to expand and trouble an underexposed history of artist’ film and video in Scotland.The festival was held at Tramway, Glasgow, in 2023 and included a publication.

The artwork explores possibilities of form and methods of sharing information that may contribute to provision of access, in particular to consider reference to sounds that are non language based and present in a visual form, whether on paper or digital. The score formed part of the CINEMA DESPITE publication, alongside newly commissioned writing and other items.
