Abstract: | Understanding the dynamic nature of learning within the studio context is central to Learning as a Spatial Phenomenon. Importantly, through the development of an educational philosophy tailor-made for this environment. To underpin what this means and how it can be implemented the term Elastic Pedagogy was coined. Specifically, as a learning and teaching method framed within the context of a new 8-into-1 curricular model. For Learning as a Spatial Phenomenon, the paper concluded with the proposition that this educational philosophy could traverse the physical space into the virtual realm. Thus, moving the debate further. |
