Abstract:

‘A Place for the Work and the Human Being’: A reflection on the needs, expectations and possibilities of curatorial practice, drawing on a 2019 project that borrowed its title from a 1986 lecture by artist Rémy Zaugg, especially considering how the art institutions can work more sustainably in support of artists and audiences.

A contribution to a one-day conference on Sustainable Futures and new models of workings for visual arts institutions organised by the North South Visual Arts Network.
