| Abstract: | A commissioned text which reflects on the collaborative practice-based research of Snaebjörnsdóttir / Wilson which is focused on the relationship of humans and animals and plant ecology. The text draws upon writings of Barad, Morton, Polanyi, Sloterdijk, and Kimmerer, to present a series of reflections on key terms presented as a critical lexicon or 'bestiary' of Snaebjörnsdóttir / Wilson's collaboration and research, including: resonance, attunement, tacit, dwelling/denning, foam, porosity, and democracy of species. Commissioned for Snaebjörnsdóttir / Wilson museum retrospectives, Debatable Lands: Dialogues from Shared Worlds (20-year retrospective exhibition) September 11 2021 – January 9 2022 and Visitations, Listasafni Akureyri, Sept 25 2022 – Jan 16 2023 Text to be published in English and Icelandic.
