GIOfest is the annual festival of Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra (GIO) hosted by CCA, Glasgow. GIOfest XIII 26-28 Nov 2020 was held online due to Glasgow entering into Level 4 covid restrictions.

The title of GIOfext XIII was 'flattening the curve' the title of the online zoom improvisation and recording project developed by Raymond MacDonald and members of GIO in collaboration with artist Ross Birrell (GSA). GIOfest XIII was live streamed from CCA on 26-28 November 2020 and the Thursday and Friday evenings commenced with 1hr showreel of a total of 16 short films edited by Birrell from the GIO zoom recordings ongoing since the first UK national lockdown in March 2020.
