This short film of 4.34 mins was a re-scripted version of a conversation with Dr. John Chilver of Goldsmiths about my working methods and contexts. It was shot in my studio by Director Tamsin Deveraux and my subsequent voice-over added in relation to the final edit.

Some working methods are portrayed alongside wide and close up shots of my paintings and studio. I discuss my influences ranging from abstract expressionism in relation to Pop Art and co-relate these art historical movements in the contemporary by discussing the impact of the digital screen on painting then and now. I draw particular attention to the importance of painting's materiality and making aspects not as a counter to the screen but as an 'imaginative' reflection.
