Commission
In 2018 I was commissioned by the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA), in Glasgow to produce a print on the theme of ‘Fabulousity’ for their queer timɘs school project, itself an important milestone in the development of LGBTQI+ equality in the Scottish education system. Outcome: artwork (print) titled ‘Fabulousity’, Gallery of Modern Art Collection (£1,000).

Background
queer timɘs school prints is an art and citizenship project commissioned by Katie Bruce at the Gallery of Modern Art on behalf of Glasgow Museums from Jason E. Bowman, who is an artist with a curatorial practice. Bowman’s work is punctuated by modes of dispersal; whereby other people are invited to interrupt the privileges proffered to him by the institutions he is commissioned by. Through reinterpretation and repurposing, others provide alternative understandings and perspectives. queer timɘs school prints advances this practice and I was invited to be one such ‘other’. I was invited to present a paper and commissioned to produce a print.
