Abstract: | This lecture -in Italian- discusses the form and decorative apparatus of the Villas of the countryside near Bologna during the 16th and 17th centuries. It includes an analysis of archival evidence, chronicles, and on-situ observations to relate the construction and management of these Villas to the personal history of the people who inhabited them. |
