Abstract:

A sound performance work, surfacing the fabric of collective action and resistant living. Written out of queer and transfeminist worlds, the work addresses the possibilities and challenges of domesticities, diasporia, desires and of maintaining communities in the face of gentrification, material precarity and care. Through experimental poetics, manipulated word, field recordings, and electronics, the work inhabits a spatialised soundscape, carrying the plural, polyvocal ‘we’ that inhabits these worlds.
