In this chapter, part of the accompanying publication for the exhibition, I"ll Be Your Mirror: Art and the Digital Screen held at The Modern Art Museum, Fort Worth in 2023, Omar Kholeif, uses hybrid modes of narration to interrogate the modes in which Black visuality, and Black violence seep, leak, and recur in U.S. aesthetic and popular culture.

Specifically, they interrogate the aesthetic modus afforded by the invention of the iPhone. Examining the role that this device has had on Black aesthetic culture and social justice movements, they query if the circular nature of the post-digital sphere, inevitably short-circuits to a point, which ultimately leads to inevitable erasure.
