Change Stories is an international Ethnographic Project researching sustainable urban development in three cities (Belfast, Bogota and Belo Horizonte). Led by the University of Washington and involving Queens University Belfast, Federal University of Minas Geiras and Universidad Los Andes and the leading Northern Ireland human rights charity Participation and the Practice of Rights (PPR). The three-day workshop explored the use of Graphic Anthropology to document and engage with complex legacies of regeneration and housing need in the post-conflict environment of West and North Belfast. Three Graphic Anthropologists (Mitch Miller, Aisling Madden and Rachel Murphy) developed tools and methods with the researchers, and carried out innovative fieldwork with communities in the city, and explored how Graphic Anthropology could aid the Change Stories project and the work of PPR.
