A large scale sculptural installation, 5m x 4m x 3m exhibited in the RSA Galleries of the National Galleries of Scotland on the Mound, Edinburgh inviting the publics to reflect of the one paradigm of the culmination of human knowledge and understanding; The history of Philosophy, from the Pre-Socratics around the 7th and 6th Centuries BCE, travelling through 2500 subsequent years toward the 21stCentury. As the distances and the knowledge of mankind accrues, the nuclear landscape alluded to in the work itself becomes a dark mirror reflecting the end game of this rarefied philosophical discussion of Epistemology and Ontology. This knowledge and sense of being and potentially ceasing to exist in this nuclear landscape may troubles the visitors thoughts, as the cognitive dissonance of this sublime landscape with its invisible underground stores of Armageddon repeatedly fails to make any sense.
