Abstract: | Dialectogram made using an infrastructuring/'Thinging' process with the staff and users of Piershill Community Flat, a facility that provided non-clinical care, referrals and counselling to a diverse working class, homeless and refugee community in southeast Edinburgh. The flat operated on a social health model and its coordinator, Beth Ekman used many social practice techniques in her own work. The drawing was shaped extensively by the users of the space. It was displayed in the flat until its closure in 2015, when it was removed to the local library. The drawing was part of Games End, my residency for Collective Gallery's All Side Games Commonwealth Games Legacy Project, 2013-15. 1189 x 841mm. Ink on Mountboard. | ||||
