Microburst is part of a larger collaborative work, where Thomson has worked with the writer Elizabeth Reeder to re-interpret/ re-form a collection of Reeder's lyric essays that explore the places between life and death, memoir and poetry and prose. The resulting works consider the relationships between text, image, page and space.
