A photographic alphabet book translating words & images between English and Esperanto. The photographs were made using a 10x8 large format film camera. An accompanying text written by Salmon highlights the work of Dr. L. Zamenhof - an amateur linguist who created an 'International' or universal second language, Esperanto. Dr. Zamenhof's intention was that Esperanto might be a means to fascilitate communication and understanding between global communities. His ideas and work resonate within social and political movements today.
