‘Guitar!’ is a solo authored book of prose fiction published by Book Works (London), supported by Creative Scotland. ‘Guitar!’ explores five forms of conversation and five approaches to listening. The book begins with an infant learning to speak and concludes with a description of a new method of conversation. How we learn, or unlearn, to speak, and why speak at all, are evinced through the meaning of one word, ‘guitar’. Includes photographs by Francis McKee.
