A creative non-fiction essay based on longer term research about crows. This piece responds to and contextualises two earlier videoworks, bridal, and bridal II. A still from bridal II featured on the cover of the Journal of Writing in Creative Practice 10 (1), 2017. An earlier version of this essay (entitled 'About the crows') and these videoworks are discussed in my article in that journal (Radar No. 5581)
