Abstract:

Between 2018 and 2020 the Re-envisaging Infection Practice Ecologies in Nursing (RIPEN) project has been working with nurses to explore how they can meaningfully address antimicrobial resistance. This involved generating ideas for policy development which were further developed at a national Policy Lab event in October 2019. This leaflet/flyer summarises the resultant agenda for policy action around nursing’s contribution to addressing antimicrobial resistance. Rose Gallagher, RCN Professional Lead for Infection Prevention and Control, featured this in her presentation at the Westminster Health Forum Policy Conference on AMR on 20th February 2020, with all participants receiving a copy of the flyer.
