Abstract: In contrast to the notion of the world and our knowledge being at some point complete, physicist David Bohm [1] posited that the world is full of movement and becoming, in which any thing, caught at a particular moment, enfolds within its own constitution --the history of relations that brought it here. This is an intriguing position and one that in spirit captures the inherent limitations of a singularly defined experience. Leaving aside the quagmire of problematic language and terminology when exploring digital media, this paper aims to open up a discussion around the contemporary cultural context in which users find themselves. In specific to explore what potential being in flux offers interaction design.
