This thesis focuses on the progress of the reconstruction of the Mackintosh building, and the strategies and methodologies used to re-establish it as a completely functional school. "Is it possible to restore 'The Mack' so it meets the needs of the 21st-century occupants while preserving its character and remaining true to the vision of the architect?"
