Abstract: | Looking to reflect the detritus and everyday objects from the streets of Glasgow Jonathan has been making sculptures from junk and objects he finds. These sculptures are then 3D scanned (using photgrametry on his phone) into the computer and turned into floral arrangements and then 3D printed and cast into jewellery. Each pice is supported by a photograph printed straight onto the silver which documents where the sculpture was made. This process has never been used before to make jewellery. This work has been exhibited in Copenhagen, At Munich Jewellery Week in Munich and at the CONNECTED exhibition in Glasgow School of Art. 31st March. Jonathan has collaborated with Euan McKenzie on the work STREET FURNITURE #6- Euan a digital artist and sculptor made a short digital animation of the original scans. | ||||
