Abstract: | Space, time and process in architecture are difficult themes to capture with still photography. The moving image however allows inhabitation, movement, spatial flow as well as the complexities of the design and construction process to be represented in ways that have the potential to reveal their characteristics in relation to specific designs. These two short films commissioned by my practice studioKAP and made by the Hungarian architect/film maker, Kata Bota take two recently-built houses by studioKAP and use them to examine two different themes. ‘Home’ ‘Albert Road’ The films were exhibited at the 190th RSA Annual Exhibition ,'Home', curated by Professor Robin Webster OBE. | ||||
