[Show/Exhibition]
A presentation of recent 3-dimensional works by Hugh Pizey and Chris Wallace. The exhibition being the second collaboration between Pizey and Wallace - The first being Gazebo in Summer 2011. Both artists share an interest in random and contingent approaches to making. Wallace uses drawing as a starting point for his making, while Pizey takes inspiration from craft processes. For 'Rose Hips' Wallace has produced drawings; plaster scuptures and works using painted wire. Pizey exhibits the resulting forms produced during experiments where bronze has been poured into moulds containing other materials - wood; stone and glass.
