Abstract: | This keynote challenges the lack of engagement with creativity in current higher education research on student learning. It notes the dominance of psychological and phenomenological research methods in discussions around how to improve learning through teaching enhancement. From this the keynote identifies absences within current educational discourse. It points out how aspects of Art School studio-based education may help fill the gaps in our articulations of student learning, emphasising creativity as well as sufficiency of understanding. | ||||
