Abstract:

The importance of Glasgow School of Art's institutional archives and collections has long been recognised. Today, interest in the work of artist, designer and architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh has reached new heights and the unique resources held by the School have become an invaluable teaching and study resource attracting students and researchers from around the world. This in turn has generated a growing number of theses, publications, conferences and exhibitions that further promotes Mackintosh's reputation to a local, national and international audience.
