Powerpoint presentation describing and illustrating the process of designing and making three separate artefacts.
The inspiration and development of a design for a bread basket which was made for an exhibition in Finland and then several venues in the UK, a catalogue was produced for this exhibition. The making of this piece led me to engage with technology I had not used before.
I then was commissioned to make two large pieces of brassware for a church. The brassware was of a scale I had never before worked in and required me to research new techniques which caused me to reflect on my design process.
The final project a pair of candlesticks made for an exhibition in the V&A, accompanying catalogue, last year offered the opportunity to refine and reflect what I had achieved in the previous work.
The presentation offers insight into my working process technically and creatively as I engaged with new technology.
