NRGStyle Ltd is a newly established consulting company. In 2010, one of the co-directors attended the ‘Zero-energy Mass Custom Home Mission to Japan’ (or ‘ZEMCH Mission to Japan’) organised by ZEMCH Research Cluster in MEARU, The Glasgow School of Art. The company is currently aiming to build a net zero energy post-council end-terraced house in Prestwick, which is called ‘ZEMCH 109’. The construction is expected to be completed around May 2012. The house is designed by ZEMCH Network led by Dr Masa Noguchi and it is featured by the installation of wind turbine and PV/T MVHR systems in addition to a modular construction system clad with high thermal performance building envelope whose U-value is estimated at 0.13W/m2K and air permeability at 1m3/m2h at 50Pa. In February 2012, the project's documents will be reviewed by South Ayrshire Council for acquisition of the planning permission. Within the technical tour programme, ZEMCH 109 will be visited by delegates of the 'ZEMCH 2012 International Conference' that will be held from 20th to 22nd August 2012 at The Glasgow School of Art. The conference was initiated by Dr Masa Noguchi reflecting his zero energy mass custom design experience and methodology introduced in the 00s.
